Nearly a decade ago, we embarked on our journey into coffee cultivation, laying the groundwork for our first fields of this cherished plant. From nurturing the earliest sprouts to the bountiful harvest, each coffee bean is tended to with unwavering dedication. Today, approximately 5 hectares of land are dedicated to the cultivation of this plant, with lots that harbor a variety of species, taking advantage of factors such as altitude, climate and soil that combine in our lands to produce coffees of exceptional quality.
The farm also serves as a cattle ranch, actively contributing to HDR’s operations and maintaining a harmonious balance between coffee production and livestock activity.
Aventura Coffee Estates isn’t just a haven for coffee enthusiasts; it’s also a sanctuary for the region’s flora and fauna. In the elevated regions, pristine forests house a diverse array of trees, lichens, and orchids. These lands provide a habitat for a wide variety of wildlife, from birds to mammals, thriving within this natural setting. Recognizing the significance of conservation, we are steadfast in our commitment to safeguarding and preserving this ecosystem, thus contributing to the well-being of the planet.
In 2024, Aventura Coffee Estates took a new step by opening its doors to the public. Now, visitors can immerse themselves in hacienda life, wander through the coffee plantations, gain insight into the coffee production process, explore our trails, and revel in the surrounding natural splendor. It’s an intimate and authentic experience, far from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
